8. Check Status

Whenever you check your infection risk status, the app will send your current contact list to the trust center server.

That will build a multi-level contact chain on the server, together with dates, duration of contact, severity levels, but without any personal data.

Checking the status will also send you own UUID to the server, which will go into a where-used crawling for getting chains, up to 4 levels and give you information about contact paths to infected people (resp. their UUIDs).

By the chains and paths, also a personal risk score is calculated by the software and provided to your app.

The app will not send you information what to do next, depending on your risk score. That can be done by push notifications, but not by email, while nobody nor any computer system knows your email address.

The checks can be performed on request or automatically in a recurring cycled depending the app settings.
